(*) Clarifications:
1. Typo in ITAT order pronouncement date fixed. It should read 15.10.2020. So, the appeal to ITAT was as
seen in the ITA number filed in 2017, heard & disposed of in October 2020 by the ITAT. This typo has NO
bearing on the question of law itself or the impugned year in dispute (which is FY 08-09, AY09-10).
2. Also you can assume CIT(A), the first appellate authority, passed an Order merely upholding the AO as
implied in para 3.2 of the ITAT Order. There is nothing to discuss further which is relevant about the CIT(A) order.
